EZINE
For your viewing pleasure I decided to bring back the ezine (electronic magazine). I took it down because there were a few bugs I needed to squash. :)
Problem #1: Loading time.
Because it loaded on the same page as the boutique, you were forced to stare at a blank screen until the darn thing loaded. Thats only if you didn't get frustrated with it first and decide to click somewhere else. (Special thanks to those of you who actually waited for it to load.)
Solution:It now loads in a separate, proportional window, which means you can still browse around the site while you wait for it to load. Fyi, the loading time depends on your internet connection.
Problem #2: Photographs.
The idea of adding an ezine was very exciting to me and I wanted it to be done as soon as possible. I sat at my desk (at work...the 7:45-3:45 job) during my prep and got busy. The amount of pictures I had with me at the time was very limited so I simply used what I had. The magazine was filled with pictures of only one model and I threw in a couple pictures of grafitti from the photoshoot. As fabulous as that model is, (and she is fabulous) it wasn't diverse enough.
Solution: Since then I have done about 3 more photoshoots which gave me more options.
The ezine is still not the beast I would like it to be. It is simply a humble baby ghost. Sweeter and younger than Casper. Once I get the loading issue together........WATCH OUT!! :)
So go to the boutique and check it out.
