I could become a hand model.... only for a "before" shot. lol I have horrible hands. They are overworked and look the part. However, I just accidentally bumped into this article and thought I'd share it with you folks that have good looking hands. Times are hard.....u gotta get in where u fit in.

Once upon a time I walked around with a little metal oval charm that had an beveled engravement of a frog with the word smile in my pocket. I loved that charm because I would always forget it was in my pocket and when I did find it, I would be so happy and I would instantly smile. I also had a habit of texting "Smile" to people with nothing else attached to the message.

It's coming people, that time of the year where you max out your credit cards on the special folks in your life...and your coworkers who you may not like but picked their name out of a hat at work.
Here are a couple of things that I think won't break your bank.

1.Gnarls Barkley
Who doesn't love Gnarles Barkley. You simply can't go wrong with this album. It comes out (I hate to say drops) November 11.

2.Basic Jersey Scarf - $6.80 Forever 21
I just love love love scarves. It jazzes up an boring outfit. I think this will be a great gift no matter the age.

3. MAC Lip Glass - $14.00 M•A•C Cosmetics
This lip gloss is the Godfather of lip glosses around the globe. You can eat with this on and you'll still see/feel it. It's not for you if you don't like sticky lip stuff tho. Uber sticky.

4. ChaiChe Earrings - $15.00
How crazy would I be if I didn't include a ChaiChe design. Now this is something original and I'm sure lucky individual will be super happy with it. It's light weight and fashionable. It's a great pair of earrings if I do say so myself.

I LOVE Gnarls Barkley. I saw them in concert a few years ago and geesh it was great! I think they give off such a positive vibe. I would love to see them again.

I wanted to share the greatness that is Gnarls Barkley with you all. I am almost certain that someone will be able to relate to this video. I'll bet you a dollar! ;-)

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Sunday, October 19th 2008, I attended my very first breast cancer walk. I must begin by saying WOW. There were thousands of people with positive attitudes wearing pink proudly and walking for a cure. During the walk there were young volunteers spread out in different locations yelling and cheering us on. One volunteer in particular stood out in my mind, he wore a green shirt with the famous pink ribbon on the front and held a bullhorn. He stood at the very beginning of the walk, as we walked up the hill preparing ourselves mentally for the long walk that we wouldn't normally do, he yelled "You can do it you're almost there." The walkers who heard him, including me, looked at each other with the facial expression of "is he serious, that's it?" He then put the bullhorn back to his mouth smiled the sweetest smile and stated "well not really, but keep going anyway." It's unfortunate that he will never know that his words in combination with his innocent laugh helped me make it to the end of the 4 mile walk.

Today, you get to see some of the work that I was working on while in Barbados. A new logo and web site edits. Some subtle changes have been made to the site...

• It now has a solid color background (black)
• New logo
• You can now click on the item photos to take you to view more photos of the item
• The link to subscribe to the newsletter is now placed under the view cart button
• Contact button is now a main link
• Revision of About page
• Top banner on pages are now wider. It takes up 100% now rather than roughly 75%
• Changed the color of 'view more photos' button to make it more noticable
• Relocated shop items/descriptions to the center of the page
• Relocated Page links to far right and changed the color to make it more noticable

For the past couple of months I've been really into photojournalism and the idea of "capturing verbs". I've come up with a few great ideas from this concept that I'm going to use for the boutique. You may see a few changes coming very soon.
