Tell us a bit about yourself.
I'm a 25 year old girl who has been drawing for like ever...as long as I can remember. I'm Quebecois. I was born in Quebec, Canada and my first language is french! I started my passion for art by drawing almost only horses and cats. After that I was either "copying" the style of other artist that I loved or just doing some anime drawings. I started to perfect my own style at 21 years old. From a young age I have had art classes in school and I also did one year of art in college. I won some contests at school, and I won two bank contest which were on a regional level.
When did you become interested in art?
I don't remember.. I have been drawing forever... I suppose it was when I could first hold a pencil and draw.
How did you discover your talent?
I don't have a great memory, I think I saw I had talent when everybody around was saying it to me!
What inspires you? What gets your creative juices flowing?
Emotions: it's not funny but when I'm really sad, in question about my life or about love, I get a lot of ideas and when I put them on paper it becomes special images that you can analyze and find a lot of interpretations and hidden meanings.
When you're not creating fabulous art what are you doing?
Hum, I think a lot! I think of a lot of different projects... some I actually do and some I don't. I love watching movies, playing games, reading, and I love going to the gym and keeping myself healthy.
What is your favorite ChaiChe item?
I love the earrings! I suppose that's why I am really inspired to do a lot of designs for them!! But I have to say that the scarves look really good too! |
